May Dog Photo Contest Winners
Fewer submissions this month - only just over 900 dog photos entered - but it was still a tough decision to pick the winners! With summer around the corner, everyone's spending more time outdoors and that means fewer bad flash photos and a lot more great, in focus shots of our sweeties! As always, only ten dog photos could win. Many of other excellent photos made our honorable mentions for the contest - be sure to stop by and see them.

Marco's Mom says: “Marco is a Pug/Beagle mix (Puggle) but often gets mistaken for a Lab puppy because of his colorings. People quickly realize he is not as soon as they see his big eyes! He is a rescue and was in bad shape when we got him--but is doing great now. He loves to chew on anything he can reach--and on his toys when I am watching. He is friendly with all people and dogs and still can't understand why cats run away when he tries to play. These pictures are from the day Marco learned to dig. He had a blast, I think he even ate a bit of the sand too!”

He is pretty possessive of his belongings and I have found him many things that he likes on Pampered Puppy. For example, he wears a Sterling Silver Crown ID Tag and rides in a baby blue jogging stroller! He also really loves the talking telephone we got him as he can hear our voice when he plays. Papa Doc loves the camera and being the center of attention!”
