May 2006 Photo Contest Winners
Over 1000 dog photo entries this month (!), but only ten could win. It was incredibly hard to choose our winners this month, there were easily 30 photos we could have chosen as winners... but in the end, we had to choose. Many of these other photos made our honorable mentions for the contest - be sure to stop by and see them.

Louie's Mom says: “Louie is a 2 year old miniature schnauzer... He loves his mom more than anything in the world, even toys. Louie goes everywhere with me. He visits nursing home residents weekly and puts a smile on everyone's face. He loves long walks on the beach, sunsets, bones, his sister Kitty (18 Years old) whom he sleeps with during the day. Louie is a love, gets into trouble but ALWAYS feels so bad after the fact.”

Jake's Mom says: “Jake is a wonderful and loving 1 year old St. Bernard, who we adopted from a rescue organization. Having already been through a triple pelvis osteotomy on his left hip, we are now preparing for a total hip replacement on the right. Despite months of physical therapy, Jake loves life to the fullest. We are training for him to be a Pet Assisted Therapy dog so he can do what he loves best...being with people! He loves playing with his buddy, our 8 year old Rottweiler Murphy, and adores cuddling!”
